1) i just love the ais kachang at Happy land.
2) the claypot seafood noodles at the row of shophouses before 21 mile (happyland) is damn nice.
3) THe fried chicken at Happy land is nice
4) Bak Kut Teh and Xian Cha (lui cha) is also nice.

lovely series of images..... thoroughly enjoyable reading about a small town I've passed by so many times but never really stopped to discover.

I'm just a little perturbed by the lack of human interest in your images.

Thank you ed9119, that day during the time of shooting the sky is clear and bright, the humidity was low, the window of opportunity for the best lighting for shooting was about 30 to 45 minutes. Interesting to find out the street was empty, maybe it was too HOT, anyway I shoot as much as possible. Local people ask alot of question when they saw you shooting at their house, I spent sometime explaining what my purposes (not from news paper or government's department) while doing so, I found out the lighting was fading away.

Yes SilverPine, I know this place well. This is kampong of Hakka, my friend used to stay the stretch behind the Dunlop's tyre shop as per your 2nd photo. Now, he have shifted out to Indahpura Kulai, that is why this year CNY eve I not here for fireworks but at his new place.

KELVYNEO, that day the lighting is good, with the permition from the small vegetable farm owner I starting taking photo. You do not see the vegetable farm often in Singapore.
