#19 - Panoramic views from Mariner's Lookout. Slightly steep uphill climb for 15 mins but views were superb and worth the effort.

This shot can join the next year competition liao

i went with a local tour to apollo bay... but didn't get this view cos we only pass by for lunch

looks like i am missing out a lot! need to faster get my driving license and go back to Melbourne for a self drive trip! :sweatsm:

Indeed bro. The best way to explore Oceania is by car and car rental is cheaper as compared to SG. And also, a lot of walking trails are available online and surely dun miss out on walking coz u get to see even much more with every step u take. :)

Nice pictures KT..

Thanks Esther. Aussie really has a lot to offer. In fact, the world has so much to explore.

Erm... can't lar. This shot I think is able to show the overview of the bay but not up to competition standard. :embrass: Thanks anyway... haha....

#22 - Hopetoun falls was one of the waterfalls that we went and we are quite satisfied with the views after a steep descend to the foot of the falls.
The falls are best seen during this period with waters at their peak. The large ferns and undergrowth compliments this falls even more.

#23 - A closer view from the viewing deck of Hopetoun Falls. It's a pleasure to see how the giant ferns complement the falls so well.

Haha... It's all about maintaining that passion ya. Regardless being in SG or overseas, it shooting all the way. Of course, photography is just one part. Most importantly, the history, the culture, the beauty of the place (not forgetting the food) is also of great importance to enjoy fully ya.

Thanks bro. Actually there are 2 waterfalls around that area which we visited but we loved this one more.

For those interested, the other falls in this area was Beauchamp falls. An easier walk to this falls but viewing deck was by the side so the angle to view this falls wasnt the best.

nice shoot ^_^
i like it

Thanks! Glad u like it.

#24 - Panorama of Gibson Steps at 12 Apostles Marine National Park just before sunset. More information about 12 Apostles and surrounds can be found at http://visit12apostles.com.au/

#25 - Gibson Steps close up. Notice how the shadow of the right rock fall onto the left forming a "door" with the position changing at different positions of sunset.

#26 - The majestic 12 Apostles (left with 7 now) at sunset. Blessed with clear skies though would have wished for some clouds, the sunset was exceptionally vibrant and orange, litting up the rocks and cliffs.

#27 - Waited for the sun to set lower and more so the colors turn even more vibrant and the backlit would not be that strong, changed positions to take another panorama of the 12 Apostles Marine National Park at dusk with the colors over the horizon. Simply breathtaking.

Note: Noticed some error when stitching the shots with some waves out of position. Will edit later on. :)

#28 - Returning to the spot where most have left, took a final shot of the 12 Apostles close up when the lighting is balanced. The park ranger told us there will be penguins coming ashore also at this time and indeed, we spotted one little one swimming ashore looking for his resting place.
