KTM railway - The IR view

Been neglecting my irD50 for quite sometime in the dry cabinet... So decided to bring it out for a walk yesterday.... since the "latest and shortest tourist attraction" is the ceased operation KTM railway, so I decided to do some IR shots along the track... My IR editing skills still quite elementary level but just thought of sharing some alternate views of the KTM railway... Thank you!!!

started from kampong Bahru.

Thanks thanks!! I love your IR photos very much too!! If mine are in your hands, I am sure you will be able to make them more lively and colorful...

To tell you the truth... I really "forgotten about my D7000". Went to trek along the railway with the irD50 and an olympus PnS camera....

Anyhow... after seeing so much "colorful IRs" from all the masters, I decided to give a try on one of the railway IR photos. Unfortunately, my PS skills and creativity are really elementary.. that's the best I could produce.. Pardon me for the poor touching up and missing edges.... :embrass:

No question about it.
As much as I have enjoyed your first few un-coloured IR's, I must say your approach to IR-painting of this last picture interesting.
Once the hues of the light green grass and the light-golden-brown grass blend smoothly into each other, and the shadows (Burning & Dodging needed) creates a natural gradation of tone, the effect will be something out of the fairy tales. This lovely shot is certainly almost there.
!

I'm no master, but I love it, love the way you color it differently...
