Heard so much about good services from you guys...must give a try.

Does KT Digital Imaging has a website where we can find out what are the full services they provide?

I've downloaded KT's ICC profile, and it's very different from my monitor's ICC profile. when i set to KT's, the photo term to be very warm. Any ways to fix it or something? on my monitor icc profile, the colors is normal and natural.

Are you using it correctly? Your moniter's profile and the Kim Tian Frontier profile are used in different ways. Your moniter profile should always be in use, your working space is another that you have to define. Just edit your image as usual and convert the image to KT's profile before saving.

Printed 100+ S4R last Saturday at KT. Service there is  .

Many thanks!!! ;)

got some reprints done the other day - upz for their great service!!

py - thanks

I'm not a good photographer. I'm not good with photo-editting. I have some shots that are underexposed (correct term?), meaning day shots taken against the bright light and hence pictures turn out dark. I also have some blurred shots as a result of unsteady hands.

If I send in these poor shots to KT, would they make it a point to improve on them as part of good service?

Oh man, 268 posts, hmmm. Someone oughta put up a proper pricelist somewhere for easy reference.

So many KT supporters and kt staff are here too right, and yet no one can answer my question?

Let me rephrase a bit. I've returned from a holiday, I have about 200 shots to develop. Of these I have about 10 or less that are blurry or underexposed. I am not good at editing them so I'm wondering if I send my 200 shots to KT, would they help me with touching up those 10 shots that are not so good? Since everyone is saying their service is so good, I just want to know whether they would be keen on my case.

oh btw, I have used KT before earlier this year. So, I'm an old customer, hope some kt staff can come in answer my question before I decide to send in the shots or get somebody to help me edit first, very troublesome.

editing it won't make it much better, what is blurred is blurred i don't think can make it clear as other pictures.

ok, what about underexposed shots? I had one where my back was against the sun, so the picture turned out with my face dark. Can salvaged?

Is it also true that these days, photo-processing machines are so "intelligent", you don't have to do anything, just give to the shop and the machine will automatically adjust all shots to the optimal settings, in other words, auto-adjust the brightness, contrast and colours?

They normally do color cast correction. I seriously they got time to do so much editing with the amount of photos they have to print.
This case even if they adjust the brightness to bring out yr face, yr background will be totally wash out. You need to use photoshop & use layers etc to fix it.

I dunno abt this

Hi there,

Just developing a roll of film and digitizing at the same time will cost $6.50.

$3 for developing and $3.5 for digitizing when you develop the roll there... :)

KT has great service! ;)

"Digitizing" means scanning of the film?

Any idea what is the scanning charges per 35mm film (already cut)? What about 6"x4.5" film (already cut as well)? I have a colleague who wish to scan her bridal shoot negatives into digital format. May I know what type of film scanner KT is using?

I have been using KT to print my digital files and the results are excellent.

just got some prints done... great service and prints!!

py - you very busy so never got to thanks!! ;)

pop - suggest that you PM KT (KTcc Michelle) to see if they can help. alternatively, post on Digital Darkroom to get assistance / advise on the pics.

If the machines are so 'intelligent', i don't think they need to hire someone to operate the machine. As what gryphon said, you got to pp in ps first for underexpose pictures. For jpg picture, when they push up the brightness, the quality will lose abit.
