The 4/3 section group are a rowdy, err.. friendly bunch.... The last two times we met, we were spending time to get to know one another better, and therefore many of the agenda that we were supposed to be talking about were never touched in depth.

So I have decided to make things a little more "formatted" so that there is something to stick to.

For this, in the next kopi session, we will do a "seminar style" presentation for the basic training in these areas, before we drift off and chat again, (which we love to do) :
  • Why 4/3?
  • Basic concept of the 4/3 system and its advantages (to know your camera is to help you take better pictures).
  • Field of View and your Point of View about the 4/3 system.
  • Camera settings and what on earth they really do.
  • So many lenses and focal length, when to use what?
  • Photoshop, Olympus Master and Olympus Studio... (touch and go about this, as it opens up a can of worms).
And... A special review of the E-410 and all the new functions within the camera. (Please, we are not comparing this with other products, just a review of what is new and usable in the new series of cameras).

** The above are subjected to change. We will update the changes.

Who should attend?
  1. Anyone who owns a 4/3 camera system or intending to get one.
  2. Someone who own a 4/3 camera system and want to better learn how to optimize your investment.
Add your names to the list (as usual)

Your talking about the camera or where the camera is going? :-)

Yeah I dive as well but my E-1 is not housed.
I'm putting a rig together with the E-500.

Currently using C-5050 for my assignments.
Images can be seen on some dive magazines.

Good to have you coming down Dylan.

My brother's is attempting to do underwater photography and would be keen to learn a thing or two from you.

I dive too by the way.

Yep..
Have to get some kinda of life while not diving.
Hahaha.. Decided to pop down to see what is happening. Of course, I do not have anything top-side to show though.

Great to see other Oly users. Btw, camera needed for the event?
I've just posted my first land pics on this section.. C&C most welcomed.

i would love to attend but Tues is out for me for the next 8 weeks :(

This calls for a poll.

By the way, I would also like to ask for the help from the old timers in here to come for this gathering and share your own experience with the 4/3 system in small groups. This will really help this gathering lots!

Really need volunteers to make this session work. Thanks guys.
