So developing it at HC-110 1:100 for 2hrs couldn't save it as much of the roll was very very underexposed. I proceeded to develop another roll shot correctly @1600, ended up with uneven development again. I'm always having trouble feeding Tri-X into the Paterson reel, haven't had problems with other film. Anyone encounter this as well?
yes. if you use tri-x at iso 1600, then the development time for tri-x at 1600 will be different,
hence "Push Processing"
if you go to massive chart for tri-x, under hc 110 for 1600, you have to develope at 16mins for dilution B etc...

sinned: can think of it as shutter speed and aperture. ISO and development also has a reciprocal relationship.
Unless you use a compensating developer like diafine or acufine, that should be the case.
