It was a yellow filter on a Super Angulon 21mm F4. Not sure why it came out this way, perhaps the intense blue sky helped.

I shot a roll just now, realised I accidentally switch from A mode to 1000th of a sec when reloading. Totally pissed with myself for making such mistakes. Think I'll develop it at 3200 or maybe 6400 to see if any photos will show up. Got some hookers at Orchard towers and chicks at the Martell party in it

hoot... i think hookers + after party chics look good in iso3200 high contrast...i can't wait... much more interesting than taking pictures of signboards at robertson quay....

So developing it at HC-110 1:100 for 2hrs couldn't save it as much of the roll was very very underexposed. I proceeded to develop another roll shot correctly @1600, ended up with uneven development again. I'm always having trouble feeding Tri-X into the Paterson reel, haven't had problems with other film. Anyone encounter this as well?

I shot this at 1600 and EV -1. Still not ready to go to 3200 haha. (Not sure if there's a difference in diafine though)

I thought the grains were still manageable as opposed to another film I just tried, ultrafine extreme 400.

This is shot @1600, HC-110 B.

I think Ilford HP5 push to 1600 much better than Tri-X in HC-110. I heard DD-X is good for pushing Tri-X.

I got 200ft of Ultrafine Extreme 400 yet to shot, need to get the hang of getting proper results with Tri-X first

eh maybe better to pair the developer from the same company ?

eg..

Kodak Tri-X + Kodak XTOL (push developer)

Ilford HP5+ + Ilford DDX (push developer)

yes. if you use tri-x at iso 1600, then the development time for tri-x at 1600 will be different,
hence "Push Processing"

if you go to massive chart for tri-x, under hc 110 for 1600, you have to develope at 16mins for dilution B etc...

sinned: can think of it as shutter speed and aperture. ISO and development also has a reciprocal relationship.

Unless you use a compensating developer like diafine or acufine, that should be the case.

thanks! besides the developing time... i also need a push developer... what happens if i just using HC100 B dilution and develop for 16 mins without the push developer?
