Anyway, have been shooting lah... but just that i've been shooting mainly friend's wedding.. So sad.. nothing interesting to show some more...

Yeah... and we was telling me he was thinking of getting the D2x...
And he's only 21...

But well... He has 14 weddings to shoot in December... He probably can afford it... :bsmilie:

Well, I just shot an 'voluntary wedding shoot' day 2 days ago, another 'voluntary ROM shoot' on December, and another 'Voluntary wedding shoot' on January... So, effectively i'm lossing money every wedding I go to... still have to pay ang poh :bsmilie:
Next year October got 1 booking liao... supposed to be a paid job, I wonder if I'lll accept... Still don't feel 'qualified' to accept payment for my wedding day shoots..

I wun even bother with Ang Pow man since u are effectively making a loss with each wedding u go. Its not fun seeing urself making a bigger loss by giving Ang Pows somemore.

I will do wedding shoots only for close friends... basically wedding dinner shoots and ROM shoots dun need a lot of skill one lar... just basic sound framing and be there to record the moments for the newly weds can already lor... sometimes I dun understand why people pay thousands of dollars for the wedding night dinner package when all the photographer does is arrange and then snap snap... no creativity required unlike the album shoots.... anyone with a P&S would do as well...

Yeah actually usually turn out quite well if the camera is far away enough (like across the table)... except that the shadows and lighting quite harsh... but most people dun even notice lor... they only feel the SLR pics are better but dun know why... :bsmilie:
