I want to keep the group at 16 max, cos it will be messy if it gets bigger.

Too bad I couldn't go. But if I go, mostly alone. Too many ppl, wait all look like primary kids go for outing with Don act like a teacher. ;p :bsmilie:

Hi Minoltians, hope u guys have fun during the outing.

There is a spot by the reservoir near the raccoons enclosure where you can shoot the resident Milky Storks flying in and out with your telephoto lens, real fun man!

Good flight shot practice too. Try afternoon ard 4-5pm, when they start flying in and out.

Tks, Garion.
Forgot all about the "free flying" birds in the zoo. We saw them during the last Minolta group zoo outing.
Then, there were butts, spiders etc for the macro shooters.

We can always split up into groups of 3-5s. After all, if we're going on the weekend, it'll be crowded. With a large group, we'll be squeezing each other out of vantage points too.

Surely some of us have some animals we like to spend more time on etc. So we can't be all travelling in 1 big group all the time. However, its always good comaraderie when shooting with a few friends, so that's the advantage of shooting with friends.

thought that 200mm x 1.5 = 300mm, should be more than enough. boy was i wrong. too bad, gf has banned me from buying lens for a year.

There are 2 kind of shooting in a zoo. One for yourself, One for family/close one. Therefore, if you shooting for yourself, a tele lens is a must but if you going with family/close one, better get some wide. A tele just for stand by, esp you are not with the gp.
