no disrespect to anyone, but this thread has been going on for some time and a few pages now. i know its easy to say "just do it" since i've already modded one for my 5D, but believe me, its all very easy. plus the satisfaction of using it instead of waiting around for news of an MO or otherwise sure beats waiting.
by the way, just a word of caution, this website asks you to send money upfront and all they are doing is faxing you a copy of the supposed airway bill for your "psychological comfort". uh... isn't this like sending money via Western Union with NO guarantees?
just be careful ok? otherwise what you stand to lose is more than the cost of a Canon BP200 grip and your time spent modding it.

Yeah that's true, but let's wait for Perly, who is doing such things for business. Anyway the pentax forum on the VG design MO ended without anyone bragging on the VG since 08-01-2006.

Well, I have been searching until I chance upon Perly and thus decided to get the hand strap from him. However would prefer the grip as in the Dicain website. Anyway, let;s wait for Perly to come back to us as I have spoken to him personally on this. Hope there is good news for us on the process and procedure to go about buy the item.
Well just put it this way that I ressurrected this thread. No idea what happend to the guys that have bought the grip for their pentax camera.

have you told perly that he is sitting on top of a potential goldmine? not only singapore 5D owners, but also those in USA, UK etc etc wanting to get a vertical grip for their 5D :bsmilie::bsmilie:5DKM said:

Yes indeed it is a market need out there. Prior to buying my KM 5D, I was looking through this website fora while before I registered as member after I got my KM 5D, I have also check on other websites link that related to KM and the recommended review sites.
I have just spoken to Perly and he managed to speak to the people in Dicain and atleast for now a contact has been establish and hope this will be easier to make process and procedure to help on how for us to acquire the item. give Perly some time. the issue is communication in language with KR and SG.
