The International Photography Awards(IPA) 2013 had just concluded and I've gotten an honourable mention in the Architectural Pro (Buildings + Cityscapes) categories for this set of photos I did on void decks. Till 2014.....

Congratulations Kit on the achievement! Great series of work...

Congratulation on your achievement!

Congrats Kit :)

I didn't even know the results are out. They don't send out email and that's strange. Went to check after seeing your post and got a pleasant surprise too :)

Congrats to you too!

Yeah, no email notification this year. Usually results will be announced sometime in September. I also got to know about it after a friend told me.

Great shots Kit!

Thank you!

Remembering Jeremy San

http://www.heavenaddress.com/Jeremy-San-Tzer-Ning/440822/

I was flipping through an edition of SA(Singapore Architect) this morning and came across a tribute. It was a tribute for someone I've known for more than 10 years. Jeremy San. Jeremy had passed away in May 2013 in Germany. I first met Jeremy in Melbourne. We were studying at RMIT where he did a degree in interior design. We soon became friends and I remembered he was one of the first people who introduced the camera to me.

Soon after graduation, Jeremy decided to go into photography full time, specialising in architectural and interior photography. He is a regular contributing photographer for various architectural publications. He also worked with the Heritage Board, documenting historical icons around Singapore. Jeremy will always be remembered as a laid back person but where photography is concerned, he cut no corners.

The photo below was taken during a session with him. It was dated 13th March 2004. Although I have not met Jeremy for ages, there's still the ocassional calls. I texted him a few months ago but he did not respond.

Jeremy goes by the handle of insanne on CS.

Thoughts reach out to his family.

So long, Jeremy.
