22. Nijmegen Bridge
One of the most striking imaginative action during Operation Market Garden , the crossing of the Waal at Nijmegen in canvas boats by a unit of the 82nd Airborne Division.
On September 19, at 15:30, started a combined offensive to advance to the Waal bridge at Nijmegen.
