violence to woman here yes, obviously because its the subject matter, sexual assault that's your perception already isn't it? probably stereotyped from the media. if i had wanted sexual assault, i would have planned, sketched and shot it. well that's me i guess
since the photos are open to interpretation just like any adverts or marketing promotions, i really wasn't driving any subliminal message here. I'm honestly just shooting something i felt was a challenge to myself as a photographer and make up artist![]()
I won't go as far as to say that everything thcat can be picked out was intentional. While you are right to suggest that perceptions are dependent on the
actually i didnt expect so much response, when i saw people saying the felt the pain and some disgust, i thought it was really something that struck the audience, that's sort of an achievement for me. One might say its because of the content but there's so many controversial topics out there too.
i understand your pov as a parent, could this then be a learning kit to teach what not to do? just like how crimewatch always portray violence and educate public otherwise not to do that. just my 2 cts![]()
I don't quite agree that it is entirely up to someone say myself to perceive sexual assualt, the series of photos practically depict that, it will come across in one way or another to anyone who sees these photos to think this way.
I don't quite see how much of an achievement here, it gets pretty low marks for purpose. I would not even use these photos to educate anyone cause it is more perverted than educational.
