Kelvin's Favourite Wedding Pics

Love your pictures. There's feelings and emotions binded to it...

man, you are the great shooter....congrat

Some people shoot good and clean... which is a good starting point. A good example is DP.

Beyond shooting good and clean (with good composition, colour, lighting, etc), your shots truly capture the moment. I don't think these things can be taught. A good eye helps, but I think you need to feel and connect with the special moments in order to capture them... because they are gone in a split second. You are very successful in this aspect and I truly enjoy looking at your pictures.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks. Heres more...

Hi Matthew! its at Millenia walk. At the back. You probably have driven pass it! Thank you for your kind words. Couples here usually book about 9 mths to 1 year in advance and because I shoot a limited number of weddings, we get booked up quite quickly. I am actually looking forward to working with another photographer. I dont mind either junior or senior members just as long as we share the same philosophy and ideas behind shooting wedding photography. Two heads are perhaps better than one and someone to bounce ideas off might benefit both me and the photographer.

Any photographer who is reading this and is keen on joining us, do pm me or email to kelvinkoh@lightedpixels.com

Cheers.

Your email will soon be flooded. :)

Hello iamsaint,

I notice that most of your indoor picture is taken without flash? am i right? do you set a high ISO to compensate? or you set up light source?

as a film user, i find it hard to take wedding picture (for friends) indoor without using flash, but the pictures somehow lose the natural light feeling when using flash.. i usually use 400 ISO, it seems quite tought to take wedding day picture indoor..

Thats the power of 5D. ISO 1600 yet no visible noise.

Capture that moment/expression is the most difficult, but you are definitely good at it.

I shoot with available light most of the time. I really dun mind upping the ISO to 1600 actually. The 5D really handles noise well. I mean relatively well...

Hey...thanks. Its all about relating and understanding human relationships, to put it overtly simple. H. H.

I've seen these shots of yours quite some time ago already. And I've visited this tread quite regularly ever since. And now that I'm seeing them again, many times over, I still go "whoa".

But most importantly, my wife, who's the I-don't-know-anything-about-photography-but-I-know-what-I-like-when-I-see-it type of person, totally adores your photographs!

Very, very nicely done.
