Kampong Batam Trip

My first experience spending days in Kampong lifestyle.
Very simple lifestyle and peaceful.
Kampong is built steadily above the sea.

They get the water from the rain. Water is then use for washing, shower and might be for drinking.

They often get black out. They use fire lantern as a torch.

Cables and Stars

In dark dining room with simple food.

Curve Light come from the airplane because im using bulb mode.

Lights come from neighboring islands.

I was expecting more photos from the aspect of human interact, something like showing the kampung life. Your set of photos don't really fit my taste, may be others will like it.

Generally, the composition still need improvement, lot of photos don't have a clear subject. This will cause the viewer very difficult to guess what message you want to bring.

i'll take note of that.next time i guess i need to hide 1 corner and snap photo of them bcoz they are kind of shy to strangers especially when they seldom see photographers in their area. haha. Kinda teritory too. next time i try my best to take pics of them.
