Mai haolian ............. unless you shoot F11 all the time ............ wasn't it only a while back I heard you whining about your 5D ......... KM 5D that is. :sticktong

So when you getting the A350 ?.............. ;)

hrm, iso1600 definitely very good

3200 shadow areas even at web size look noisy, guess would be better for outdoor with not much shadow areas

Hmmm, I guess I will wait for Shirio before importing the DA* 200mm from Amazon.

never....when afc failed...just switch to manual focus, f11, flash 1:1 manual full power

The high ISO performance is quite powerful.

Considering it is 14megapixels and in crop format !

Yum Yum

Oh yeah, if you hold the K20D (like me right now ;)), you'd love it even more :D

wow... so far all test shots are showing its iso performance...im more interested in the dynamic range...possible to shot some high contrast scenes ? like some black/dark stuff with a bright or white background...really interested if the expanded dynamic range is up to 1 EV...
the old K10D clips the hightlights easily when taking high contrast scenes....

Was at Shirro today and tried the K20D + DA200/2.8 Combo. Did not take test shot as I did not have a SD card.

The len is heavy but feel balance on the camera. Continous focus speed was amazing and silent. I was standing at the glass door and swiping over the black color hasselblad equipment at the far end, the focus was quick and sharp. Viewfinder very bright.

According to them, IT show shld have both Len and Camera for sale. Price not confirmed.

Argh I Want The Lens And Camera Combo Now

Zenten, is this the type of test you looking for?

Thanks.

Yup, it's the test I wanted, quite an achievement for the K20D. I guess that the Pentax engineers must have tweaked the algorithm of the AF system.

.......... but then again , there are reports contrary to the af performance shown here.

impressive:o:thumbsup:

Eow, if you really interested in the K20D I can offload some of my Pentax stuff to you.........;)

Otherwise, just stick with Sony :nono:

Just want to add that the K10D on its own, is not a slow camera. Set it to higher shutter speed and prefocus ........ voila, you can capture the shot that you intended to. But sorry to say, when it came to tracking something coming slowly towards you, it failed miserably as far as I am concerned. I hope that the present users of the K10D and K20D have better luck than I did in this area.

Then again, if its superb images that you are after, the camera will certainly not fail you. ;)

Entirely based on my own experience ..........:D
