1) PENTAX-DA* 16-50mm F2.8ED AL[IF]
2) PENTAX-DA* 50-135mm F2.8ED [IF]
3) PENTAX-DA* 60-250mm F4ED [IF]

And hoot all of them at once with the camera.

Oops! forget to mention my trusty MZ-S, which I used when get lazy on MF on Super A or LX.

f8 means a dim viewfinder for focusing even in bright conditions so higher chance of error. Have been using it at distances of 50-200m instead of near infinity. Range of sharpness when seen 100% on screen is about 1-2m

Decades ago, I had been toying the idea of getting mirror lens. But having such a dim viewfinder at f8 deterred me. How to focus?! Just going crazy to make things out.

Hi folks, just got my K10D body from TK. AP and MS all out of stock, CP still got but selling about 1.4k for body. Now trying to built up my lens selection. Hope to shoot with you guys soon.

Today Cathay Photo told me they selling a dual lens package for around $1900. K10D + kit lens + 50-200mm lens.

You could try using DOF preview at f8 with any telephoto lens to try out manual focusing. Choose a contrasty object to focus on. There are some telezooms are f5.6, f6.3 or f6.7 at the long end.

I meant try out the body in the rain.. There are no weather-sealed lenses for Pentax at the moment, so even if the body can withstand the weather, the lens might not make it.. But good thing is the weather-sealed lenses are coming soon from what I heard..:thumbsup:

Well, someone tried w/ the kit lens, and seems it stands the sparking rain/spash quite okay ... And it's a cheap lens, very easy to be replaced, and I know most don't even use the kit lens after they bought the bundle

I'll be getting the DA*60-250 when it comes out that's for sure

such as? I thought the lenses are there. the battery grip is there.
the IS is built-in! the flash is there. the remote release is there.
all you need to add is a beautiful model!
