Hi, Fengwei,
It seems that you took these two pictures at NUS, right? I used to walk on that road for several years...
BTW: Got the kit from Alan Photo Funan this afternoon @ 1517 with one HOYA UV filter and one screen protector. Well build camera! I might ask my friends to buy a 43LE from US because it is just US$380, after rebate. Is it a good deal? But the people in Alan Photo seems not very keen on this camera, especialy questioning pentax's focusing...
Two questiones:
1. As people discovered before, the pitures it takes seem a bit dark.
2. the white balance under AUTO seems not very accurate.
Still trying the camera...
Yes, these two were taken at NUS, by the Eng Canteen
Congrats on the new camera. I'm sure you'd love it once you find the beauty of it
43LE is a great lens, I like mine alot. It was the most used lens on my Ds, and I'm sure it'd perform well on the K10D as well. I got it from the US (w/ the rebate, thanks to a good friend) too
As to the pics I took, I was still learning how to use the camera, but accidently turned the EV to -1 on these two pics (you can check the EXIF), had to level them up by using CS2. The camera's metering is very good actually. I don't need to do any compensition w/ my DA40 and A50/1.2, but that's the only two lenses I ever mounted on my K10d so far. I'll test out some other lenses during the weekend.
PK10D's auto white balance is more accurate than my Ds I think, but if you still feel AWB is off, better shoot in RAW, and adjust the white balance as you like

And I haven't found any problem w/ my K10D's focusing, it's alot faster than the Ds, and it is spot on w/ the two lenses I tested.
Now go out and take some photos, and share them here w/ us
Cheers and happy shooting
