Hi there,
it mentioned in this youtube that the latest JVE Everio series has Super Lolux "power"
Super LoLux In 2010 JVC Everio Camcorders - YouTube
In page 3 of this brochure they claimed that you can have clear images in indoor and dark situation.
http://www.jvc-me.com/camcorder/pdfs/2013-Camcorder-Catalog.pdf
The specs also mentioned that it has a 40x optical zoom with F stop of 1.8 to 6.3.
I would like to know whether I can get good recording in concert hall (please assume I have permission to shoot in concert hall) if I zoomed at 40x to capture the singer face ? I suspect the when I do so, the F stop at 40x zoom would probably be at 6.3, thus it will be quite dark.
So, can I say that the assumption made by the brochure is that in order of us to have clear images in indoor and dark situations, we must record the widest angle without any zoom (when the F stop is at 1.8) ?
Lastly, I went to Harvey Norman, Best Denki & Cathay Photos and it looked like nobody sell JVC camcorder anymore. Any idea where to buy this JVC GZ-E100 or JVC-E305. In JVC's S'pore website, it also did not mention where you can buy it & it also did not list their retailer. So, any idea where to buy these video cameras in S'pore (without resorting to purchase online) ?
Thank you.
