Entertaining link. Take results with some salt as we don't know what's been done to the cars. Since it was a head to head battle, it's hard to say as it did look like the GTR was struggling at the end. Was suprising to see the GT3 at the back... :bigeyes:

i got a feeling best motoring a bit biased...

i'm quite pretty sure the gt3 wont be so far back....unless it's a driver issue....

i find it really hard to believe how 'slow' the GT3RS is.
i've rode in one as a passenger.i'm just taken aback why the GTR overtook it so effortlessly.
i know the cars are modded, but ... but...:dunno:

love the shape of the exige though...

nope.not vspec.but as you can see, it is already damn fast.

for those interested, heres an update on GTR's maintenance.

consumption hovers about 4-5km/l.
light footed driving with occasional flooring to 4k rpm thereabouts.

1k km servicing
engine oil $200+++
differential oil $100+++

was told to take it easy till 2k km.

i'm about 1500km now.
once it hits 2k, i'll bring it up genting.
wooohoooo!

and at 5m 45s, did the GTR slow down for the 360 to pass through apex?
he(gtr) could have taken the apex right?or will you consider that blocking if he did?

Well, from what I see, the GTr went a little wide @ that corner & 360 took a close fight but the torque was matchless. Interesting to see a manual 360!

Same here. GT3 was completely out of the game early on but do you guys noticed that it was "so easy" to handle the GTR (clever electronics & 4WD) & the Exige being most "busy & tweechy"

Anyway, some of my friends who track regularly do 2.40+/- in Sepang easily on stock GTR & tyres. They also said it's one of the best outta the box sports car but best to handle with experience as it's addictive to hit 100 too easily, especially on public roads.

it took me and my friends 4 hours from my house to get to the lobby of the hotel in a plain vanilla altis. so with gtr can do it in 2 hours? shiok. then next time can just go genting for lunch or dinner...the lamb leg there is fabulous!

Last night around 11+ I saw a white GTR at Alexandra Road turning to AYE jurong direction. Quite a new one, SJR plate, but just too fast to see how the driver look like. Can only see there was only the driver alone inside :embrass:
