thanks

No problems.

The Li battery is so costly. Why are you using it?

Let me elaborate.

All Oly DC has a mini rechargeable Li-Ion batt to keep the setting and date when the main batt r taken out for recharging.

According to the manual, can work up to 7 days b4 batt flat and reset to default.

Nerdie is tokking abt THAT batt.

harrows,

if it is rechargeable? how do it recharged? does the A/C adaptor recharge it? does it recharge the batts inside as well?

regards,
nerdie

the AA batteries are recharged outside the camera if I'm not wrong.

Either the AA-size main batt or adapter will be able to recharge the DC's mini batt.

i must say that c-2100 & 2040 are not quite the same. i personal tested both and i feel that c-2100 has got better quality lens, & that's what e person at alan photo told me too.

The C-2100uz has a bigger lens then the c-2040z which attributes to the price diff, but both models use the same basic chasis. Feature-wise I think both r abt the same.

I would describe the C-2040z as the smaller bro of the c-2100uz.

Just my $0.02 worth.

c700uz is the wife =p

you pay what you get isn't it?

$950 for C2100 with 10X zoom
$650 for C2040

Upz.....any more new owners???? ;)

Erm..how come shaper pix use 10s har????

The 'smooth-and-silky' effect applies to falling water, with a quick shutter the water is 'frozen' in mid-air but wif a longer exposure, u can get the effect of flowing water....
