I also went to AP to get myself a C4040Z just last week.

Of the 2% that didnt like the 2100UZ, half was because it's not pocket-size, and the other half was because it doesn't say 'Nikon' or 'Canon'.

Ladies and gentleman’s , we had not married with the Olympus as brand , but we have married with some fantastic products that they do offer enough power for our needs ..
I am a bit passionate with my camera , due many reasons ..
1) it does everything I need ,and performs beyond any personal expectation .
2) its one large camera that makes even professional photographers to admire it
3) it has bragging rights as model
4) no one gives that amount of cash easily to get one so advanced camera .
5) I always wanted to get one advanced photo camera , my joy is double that I found it and it is Digital .
6) Olympus has good service in my country ..

In other words if you have found the right words to back up your theory about why you have select your camera , all the other things come second .

About selling the camera , I do not like to even think about it , if I will even sell it , this will be the sign that I had end up totally broke .

strange but I think that the C700 owners seems to be changing more often. But the C2100 Uzi gunners are pretty stable. Think only one guy has changed so far.....cannot remember his nick though.

There is one good explanation on that ..
The C2100 is not one that friendly as camera ,due the large size , so the most people that they have take the decision to live with one camera like this one , they know very well why they got it , and what it does .
The C700 for marketing reasons is called as small one or pocket one , and it is not .
It is also one big camera , just a bit smaller than the C2100 .

What happens most of the times ,with the people that they get the C2100 , is that they buy also another one smaller DC ,as one more compact solution , but they never give away the C2100 top dog
