I just don't understand. You are not happy waiting to wait (over 45 min.) to buy a small item (as you mentioned). Then, why do you still go there? Is the item so unique no other shops has stock? Or, J3:16 is selling so cheap that you HAVE to get it from them? In that case, you shouldn't complaint since you are getting a good deal.i was there last week buying a small item.... it took 45 minutes before someone pays attention to me, while i was waiting (quite pissed), the phone rang....

Well, isn't it rude to interfere with a salesman/saleswoman when he is still in the process of helping another customer?Agree with you. Baffles me too. Additionally, why not just be more assertive and make your needs known. Whenever I go to J316, I just step up to Sam and tell him what I need. If he's attending to another cust and ask me to wait, I'll just wait a minute or two before approaching him again. He'll usually attend to me after that. No need to be rude. No need to get frustrated. Just be firm and polite. Always works for me.

The key is timing. Interrupt when there is a break.Important note is to wait for the pauses inbetween.![]()
They are quite rude with their emails. Quite dissappointing to say that most of the camera shops in Singapore are so proud.![]()
Come to think of it. Every single camera item is bought from there, yet the email can be so rude. Oh well, i won't patronise their shops anymore.is it? i think i had some better experiences with their reply and quotes via emails..

You need to exercise EQ and time it so that it isn't rude - catch salesman eye, customer not engaged with salesman momentarily, etc - play it by ear and sight. Speak gently but firmly. It's all about communications.
