The next morning, we headed about 85km north-east of Perth to a town called Toodyay as we were planning to join a farm tour around that area the following day.

The accomodation that we stayed in Toodyay was called the Black Wattle Retreat

Really enjoyed the two nights stay there. Their suites are really great.

The backyard where you can enjoy some afternoon tea while admiring the scenery.

Besides the main suites, they also have cabins for guests to stay too.

The next morning, we went to visit the farm: "Boshack Outback." It is a 350 acre property and features pristine virgin bushland, a large freshwater lake, wildlife and natural springs. Getting back to nature in the outback bush was a really positive experience for all of us.

After having fun at the boshack farm, we spent the rest of the day back at the Black Wattle Retreat.

After having a good rest at the Black Wattle Retreat, we went back to Perth City the next morning. On our way back, we visited the Mondo Nongat factory in the heart of the Swan Valley. It provided us with a unique insight into the production of Mondo Nougat. The Mondo Nougat recipe is the perfect combination of roasted almonds, natural honey, egg whites, sugar & glucose.
