hey anyone notice banding in the iso6400 shots for the D300?
i tink iso1600 is prob the max for D300

From the exif, looks like using D3, firmware 0.25, NR off (btw, using the new VR 400 / 2.8)

Not sure whether has this been mentioned yet, but can the D3 do CLS without the use of SB-800?

I suspect that it can because it is listed as a specification inside the specs of the D3.

I think it will need a SU-800 or SB-800 to do wireless commander. CLS is just the name of the flash system, not just wireless.

Was at CP yesterday. Was asking about pre-order for the D300. They said that pricing is still unknown but stocks may arrive in October(!!!). Probably not much stock though. I don't know whether to believe or not the October thing, so just left my name there anyway.
