It's insulting to photographers here on CS

Sorry dude, there are such things as freelance models. There was a rather involved discussion on this some time back in one of the threads, and both sides agreed to disagree.

freelance do not exist brudder in modeling world.

unfortunately...there is contrary to what people my think. Freelance models as it is do not belong per se to any modelling agency. In this case, it simply means that they do not exactly rely on a booker in the agency to get them gigs. These models may belong to an agnecy, but they are free to contract jobs on their own free will and time, that is to say if they do not have any arrangements with the agency itself.

these type of models are very common in the US and Europe. For them it is a good place to start to build a port for them to get noticed by big name agents. All you need is to go on the web and they are there.:)

how people doing business is other people "business". none of my "business"

Let all businesses big and small embrace this philosophy and may Peace and Coexistence prevail between businessmen and Perfectionists.

:bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

There is model that charged up to $500 per hours. Those you expect to see good portfolio.

I'll let the Model keep her good porfolio and I keep my $500. :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

So there are good photogs, and there are bad photogs.
And so there are professional models, there are freelance models.
and there are some models who will click well with certain camera and gears, and will not click well with other cams or gears .... i read somewhere written by a (i think) quite-pro photographer (based on his cam and gears) ....:sweat::sweat:

has been tried and tested...:sweat::p

Without further elaboration from you since my last rebuttal, I'll just make a bare rebuttal that is:

"Sorry bro, freelance do exists in the modelling world."

I guess in your world, freelance photographers don't exist either, nor do freelance makeup artists, or for that matter, the word freelance.

freelance do not exist brudder in modeling world.

:o........ goodness !!

Sometimes, you got to spend. :)

Seriously, in CS which model gave her rates as $500??

I for that kind of money if I were to pay, I am willing to pay more and maybe get Sheila Sim to model.

According to the MerrianWebster Dictionary, "Freelance" means:

1 ausually free lance : a mercenary soldier especially of the Middle Ages : condottiere b: a person who acts independently without being affiliated with or authorized by an organization2: a person who pursues a profession without a long-term commitment to any one employer

According to the Cambridge Dictionaries Online:

adjective, adverb
doing particular pieces of work for different organizations, rather than working all the time for a single organization

According to the Oxford English Dictionary:

adjective self-employed and hired to work for different companies on particular assignments.

Now, do you still insist that there are no freelance models?

You will be surprised bro... hahaha. Some even quoted $450 / hour for casual wear.:bsmilie: I was reading the statement made by her again and again if I am reading the right thing.:bsmilie:

Saw one that quoted quite a high range in the models directory of about some $300. I was thinking how in the world did they come up with those kind of figures. Which is why in CS other than low end of the spectrum to the mid end, that is the max I see. So far IIRC, I have not seen one for $500 yet.

The best part, many give mail addys. No port link at all. Else blogs.

As long as i don't see any props in my area of expertise i won't comment. Pls pls make the models hold bigger guns
