That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It's going to be hard to resist.

should have lv what, how can don't have?if not,how ppl shoot if they never buy the ovf?lol

Beautiful product. Well done Olympus!

Can someone explain how does the 'hot-shoe' viewfinder work? Wouldn't it cause a certain degree of parallex error? Does it work with zoom lenses? Well, I could have google for the answer but would love (and prefer) to hear it from those who have actually seen it and use it prior to the digital age of photography... :)

There also appears to be no place for lens hood, I guess Olympus is going to 'frustrate' us with screw-ons. (no pun intended).

Is that a 40.5mm filter thread I make out on the 14-42? Odd size wor...

There will be some degree of parallex error, but the futher your subject the less degree of error it would seem.
Ovf(optical viewfinders) are fixed, but I'm not sure if oly's version has multiple framelines(it looks huge). There are such thing such as optical zoom finder from leica and cosina, but those are costly and bulky, defeating the purpose of a compact large sensor camera imo.

For close focus, there's always the LCD.

It's beautiful! Seems like you can lock the lens to 1 focal length? Haha!

The 'lock' mechanism on the 14-42 m-lens seems to be just to hold it in place when not in use (at least to me) :dunno:. Other lens makers have used similar approach too to counter lens-creeping. I hope it's not the case for this new gem, which I doubt so too, since it can't be that [front] heavy to creep.

It's more than that; it's one of those collapsing-compact lenses. At its most compact the lens doesn't look like it can be used.

well,no one knows for sure until reviews, hands on are in progress, and we're hours away from official release!!

Its coming! Its coming!

Ladies and gentlemen, please prepare your wallets! :bsmilie:

Bo liao... just adding to the hype... this is crazy...

Silver, white, silver, white, silver, white, silver, white... hard to decide... so hard to decide...

White... white... white...

I am happy with screw ons, just not with screw ups (delivery dates).

You might have better luck garskin-ing or g-masking your own. Forget about those designer's label. Costs a ton to use their copyrighted label.

More image leaks... Think I prefer the white/beige-grip look than the white/black-grip design. Gives off a more classy/vintage outlook.

OMG. The case and strap is beautiful! A little like my OM-2n's which I love! :bsmilie: Would like a black better though, since white is a little feminine.
