He did all he could to convince me to take a silver model, but my point is, being promised the White model, i had already spent $200 on the white leather case, and i placed a 'pre-order' so i could get a set asap, but apparently ppl are getting their hands on dual lens kits at other places like Best Denki.

He said will get back to me. SO tempted to raise this to CASE.

You may want to consider getting your money back, as I saw a few white units in Audio House Liang Court.

Really? when did u see them? The HN salesman dare to tell me that there is nothing he can do as there is not a single set available in the whole country, so even if i push him he won't be able to get a white set for me.

Maybe his latest info which may not really be THE latest info is that there isn't a single set available in the whole country?Or maybe he means that there isn't any within the HN outlets,either way,what i feel is that,if you're not happy,just see if you can get a refund or else gotta wait,the guys are HN are quite alright though there are lemons
 

Anyone have an idea of what is the longest exposure that the E-P1 can take without any dark noise and with "Noise Reduction" (dark frame subtraction) turned-off? I'm interested to know how much the sensor has improved for long exposures. Thanks.
 

No he said whole singapore no white set, Oly also won't be bringing in any white sets, so suggest i change to a silver set.

For the record :

(1) There is no problem with the white paint issue. That is a whole load of rubbish.
(2) Olympus Singapore is still importing the white version of the E-P1.

Saw it just 2 days ago....not sure you wanna trust those HN folks as I don't have good dealings with them. You may also wanna try MS Color & Cathay Photos.....call them up & see. I know Audio House got at least 2 white units sitting there on display, Cathay & MS Color got silver ones avail.

Where did you get your white leader case by the way? Issit the shoulder strap for EP1? Do they have the leather/brown one?

Ordered it from Tokyo toyz. They have the brown version.

Yes man, anyway the price is NOT inclusive of shipping. So it is actually more expensive than local set (if anyone can find any).

Got the silver lens, very happy with it : )
 

HAHAH!!!!Ya lor,i still kept the article in a file,my classmates were like wow 0.0,but they didn't really read cause they seemed more interested in the E-P1,but reading the article was really a ROFLMFAO

Their express courier charges are not expensive as compared to those of other online shops like B&H. And they are really fast.
But the silver kit lens so expensive still got takers !:think:
