I would place my bet on a 2nd hand body and a first hand lens....BNS has alot of ppl offering 400d body ..some with kit lens and warranty and other accessories included...actually me thot of sellin oso..hehehe...

well back to topic...why body 2nd hand? like myself.....not say 400D no good but always drool over better system...so you will always chng the body so no point getting a first hand...moreover a body if well taken care of can last for more than 3 years...like my ex-KM7D which was also bought over BNS.

Must say that I can trust BNS sellers as photographers always take good care of their expensive toys.

1TB is something i am eyeing on!

Just for discussion... i was looking at 1TB's a couple of weeks ago and found out that 750GB HDD's seem to be more value for money compared to 1TB ones.

Am also waiting to see what promos there are at the IT show

Sorry to jump in like this but i would like to know if Nikon would be selling body & lens seperately? Or do they have a special bundle?
And if I purchase using credit cards, will there be an additional surcharge?

I noticed that the Sandisk 4GB is selling at $60/pc. I recently bought from ebay seller online (singapore) who sold the same SD card for $35 (made in china).

Is there any difference? i need advise.. as I need to get more for my Tibet Trip (cold weather).

Might be OEM. I do not dare to buy memory cards on EBAY. There are a lot of OEM versions...
