Yah lor.. Photography has become IT. Come to think of it, it's technically correct too. Photographic art is also a form of communication.

Now where got such things liao.. everything is $$$.. Got $$$ you are blessed.. no $$$, you better die than falling sick ah. sigh...

D200 is $3288. Only 10 sets at the IT show. Can buy using UOB card - 0% interest 12-month instalment.

No freebies. No lens.

No trying of the D200.

No Nikon lens on sale.
No Nikon flash on sale.

Sigma lens - available there.

Tamron - need to trade in any lens to get "discounted" price. Don't seem cheap.

That sums it all.

Yes, went to the Nikon booth to ask about the 18-200 but was told no stock and donno when will come in. :thumbsd:

This is real bad for Nikon. Can't deliver on their announced products!

They've already delivered a few shipments, your failure to get one can blame nikon meh? :bsmilie:

Why only few shipments? Can't nikon deliver more? If this means nikon cannot manage their supply properly then of course blame nikon.

Yup...was there earlier.....the nikon booth not so happening this year i find....even though it was quite big....and focus was not on the D200.....you wouldnt even know it was there if you didnt look hard enough...rite in the center.....the price tag was hand written on a piece of paper.....retail price with one 2G lexar card as freebie..... :(

guess the focus isnt on D200 at all....

IT shows are mainly to get the mainstream products flying off the shelves?

Same what, if you can't get then it's your fault. Blaming others is the easiest way out. I can get 2 sets of D200 when it launched, R1C1 when it arrived, 2 MB-D200 when it arrived, 1 18-200 when the first shipment arrived. Incompetency has no room for cure.

As for why not more, it's not a factor that Nikon can control, it's something I also cannot put down black/white, I've already shared with those that drop by NUG often.

I saw the advertisement in today's slot in, only like focusing more on P3, P4.

Wow! 2 D200, 1 R1C1, 2 MB-D200... you're quite humble. Thanks for sharing even without anyone asking... and also for highlighting that you are very competent. Thank you for plugging you NUG too.

Its not a factor Nikon can control... for a company that manufacture precision equipments, this explain a lot. I mean, how technical can it be that they, much less you, can't even explain this issue properly.

I'm not sure what does incompetency has to do with failure to meet demands nor failure to give advance shipment notice. Sounds like a 10 year old logic to me.

Go Canon la, don't come here and hee-haw hee-haw so much, not happy jump ship loh.

You're not even working in Nikon, and yet you talk like you can do a better job, then you go and do lor, and make sure you can meet demands. Else sit behind screen talk a lot is also simple and easy. Chey...
