Brief Introduction:
Hi all, am a newbie in photography. Just got my first DSLR (Nikon D7000) in late 2010, still toying around with the camera and various setting. Thanks for the sharing in this forum that I am able to pick up lots of relevant information here. Many of the photographs posted here by fellow members have certainly inspired me to work on improving my photog skills.

Purpose of starting this thread is to chronicle my photography journey and hopefully I am able to share what I see and communicate them to you through my photographs.

Your constructive feedback to my photographs are certainly welcomed. Thanks in advance.

"Just the two of us" - One of my earlier shots taken on the camera. Wanted to show the vast sky and hopefully show the space/privacy that these two people seem to be wanting.

"Cling onto me" - Look closely and you will see the image of a man hugging the pole.

"Midnight Express" - First time playing with slow shutter. Finally managed to shoot this on my 10th try. Hopefully can do a better shot next time I try this again.

"Double Prosperity" - Taken during a walk down Chinatown on CNY.

"RIP/Forget Me Not" - Not sure if this is sensitive to be posted up, if so I will remove this... May the souls rest in peace.

"Pretty Small Things Series - Flower cluster" - Could have easily missed them, this small flower cluster is no bigger than my thumbnail.

"Pretty Small Things Series - Fern Fairy#1" - Was quite surprised with this shot. Taken with flash ON yet was darker than another shot taken with flash OFF. Somehow I prefer this shot with flash ON as it looks more dramatic.

"Pretty Small Things Series - Fern Fairy#2" - Looks like fern fairy taking flight? Actually thought this looks like some green flying lizard...

"Pretty Small Things Series - White Lion" - At first I thought it was a worker ant carrying something white in colour. On closer look found that it is some kind of creepy crawlie. Still dun know what it is >.<

"Nature's Glow" - This leaf caught my eye cos it has this luminous ring around it. Hope you like it

"Pretty Small Things Series - Blossom" - Beauty in the making? Found this lone small flower bud smaller than the size of the nail on my last finger.
