wonder if u guys can help,my norton keeps shutting down on its own.and also when i try to use it to scan stuff it still keeps shutting down...any ideas?

it's a worm / virus

go http://www.symantec.com look for cure

Hi Wainism

If you know the worm / virus type, just download the "cure" from Sysmatec
website (download to diskette using other PC)

"Run" the diskette on your this infected PC

"Restart" your PC

"Run" your Norton antivirus again

It should be alright

If the problem persists, call Symantec at : 1800-720-7898 (toll free)
They are quite helpful and skillful to help you "remove the worm"
