Agetan said:Not exactly live preview isn't it... basically just another angle finder... something like Angle Finder Vn... just that it relay its pictures to its own cmos sensor and put it on LCD...
If you are using it under bright light, same thing with your LCD, you might not able to see accurately.
For 119 GBP, its over $300... I would go and get an Angle finder...
Just me...

This discussion is about whether the digital VF working with KM 7D.. cool or not? :bsmilie:
Oh wait.. can be use for film SLR also.. not limited to DSLR.
Drudkh said:but this live preview will be different from conventional compact digicams where you could literally see the metered result on the LCD.
yup but that's just the scale. those live preview that showed the immediate result on the LCD is very useful and that made sure you'll capture what you want.TME said:If this device captures the entire viewfinder frame, u will also see your metering scale, and shutter speeds, aperature values change in real time. U only dun have a live histogram that's all.
TME said:I'm not sure why an analogue SLR user would want this... It makes no difference to him whereas the DSLR user can see his shot immediately after he takes it and this live preview thing is very useful.
focusing doesn't rely on the VF, the VF is just to let you see. so adjusting the diopter needs the subject to be 100% in focus.Del_CtrlnoAlt said:i forsee 1 problem with it... i always set my diopter all the way to 1 side, den when i use this, wonder will the image be blur anot... den blur, i use DMF to make it clear... my final pic will be blur also... think no wonder y i so blur... btw is there a difference between our eyes blur from myopia vs an out of focus image?
that's only a small issue, we all lose out on thirds party lenses!deslim27 said:hehehe.. Minolta users.. see how nice you're being threated.. others have to MO for stuff that you take for granted.
