Is this a fish or what?

Just now I had dinner at the hawker center infront of yishun mrt. I choose to buy from the korean food because I prefer to eat their tender beef bowl. The meal comes with a side dish of kimchi and somekind of dried small fish.
I started eating and about to take a piece of the dried fish when I notice very a strange looking piece on the side dish.
I don't know if its part of the dish or what but it doesn't look like a fish to me. Any idea what is it. Fish ID?hehe
Photos are taken from my handphone, a bit blur.

Mod, please remove thread if not suitable here.thanks

Eat whatever in your plate.

Because you've paid for it.

:)

What the fish? :bsmilie:

Hope you are alright and didn't eat the strange looking thing no matter what it was[emoji33]!

Ofcourse I won't eat that anymore. I immediately walkaway after taking photos.

Mud worm that rear inside straw in mangrove/ muddy area, use for fishing bait. about 2-4inch. look like part of the whole worm.

Why? You could at least tell the shop owner that he has sold you more than what you have ordered :bsmilie:

Only to find out that whatever it is.... cost another 50¢ more and TS has to pay up... :bsmilie:

May the innards of the fish? But actually looks like centipede

Aiya. What's the big deal about all this?

Just coz of one small thing in the dish?

Let me tell you. Anchovies eat anything in the sea. So it's no surprise that this small thing comes from the stomach of an anchovy

Stop fussing about this. Are you from the strawberry generation?

Should at least take a bite to see how it tasted like.

Looking at the size of the UFO (Unidentified Frying Object).... its highly unlikely any anchovies (which is smaller) could have makan-ed that thing...

Photo has too few detail to tell what it is... just as likely as to be a mulit-legged bugs... or as part of the spine of a larger fish...

But my advice... just forget it and carry on.

I think TS just wana share with us what he had for dinner, didn't think he was complaining!

Anyway if he were from the strawberry generation, by now you would have seen the same pics on multiple forums and most probably STOMP with a title like "Insect in my Korean dinner, is this allowed?" [emoji2]

Looks like part of this...

Those small anchovies sure have big stomachs bigger than the size of half their bodies....

BTW please keep it civil. you are threading a fine line on name calling.

Please see a doctor ASAP as you may have swallowed a few by eating half of the tray. :)
