Casio "anti-shake" uses "digital" techniques... by boosting the ISO (to 1600) to get fast shutter speeds so that the image are sharper. Results: high levels of noise.

Hi,

Anyone sees or hear or think that Canon will be incorporating their IS technology on to the body rather than on their lenses? From the cost point of view, isn' that more efficient? Having said that, many will absolutely piss my many people off (those own IS lenses and that includes myself!) if they do so. Also, wonder what will be the impact on lens prices if it materiallize.

Cheers!

Hi,

Well, Canon could always use electornics to control that if they want to e.g. their IS will work better or only with Canon lenses - something like the ETTL II speedlite compatibility with their cameras. On second thought ... isn't that a good for us ("even third party lenses will beome IS") !!! kekeke

Cheers!
