Just wondering, since in Canon when I go JBP of SZoo I never need tripod with
my EF 70-300 IS, is Dynax 7D's IS as good as Canons?

:)
I don't mean to flame, I may change gear to Dynax one day.

Sulhan,
You photos are always very very convincing.. there will be more KM users in Singapore because of you. :)

Handhold with 70-300 IS, though my skills no good. ;)

Why I'm sold on KM's AS system is that it makes practically EVERY lens an AS lens. So in terms of performance-to-price ratio, I believe it beats the pants off any other brand. There's definitely reason why this technology has won EISA accolades. IS-Lenses are expensive to say the least. I tried an IS-lens mounted on a Nikon D70 system, and while results were good, it's just a bit too troublesome to remember to switch on IS after body and switch off IS before body (or something like that, lah).

Well, I think the AS vs IS is subjective. More likely to depend on handheld tactics.
You can check my Zoo and Bird Park Pics. All of them are taken without tripod. ;)

AS or IS???? its all about the same, which is better? why bother so much, as long as u get yr pics sharp when u need them, they are already good enough!!!

about the same
except the IS can handle panned shots ?
AS cannot ?
not that i am complaining

Handheld at 1/10s on a at 200mm with IS on a 70-200 f2.8L IS with super clear details. TOo bad I lost the photo...

Not zoom, but wide angle shot.
Tried KM5d AS by handheld with elbow supported on knee
for 1 second f/5.6 ISO400 on 17mm lens, result seem not bad  .
