Would you fly on an airline who treats their passengers as such? How about their insensitive response on social media? And just not very long ago, like a week or two, they refused to allow two girls on board for wearing leggings and then proceed to be total knotheads on social media in dealing with the backlash. Would you patronize any company who regards their customers in such a manner? All about shareholders nowadays is it? Rotflmao.
United and their investors are fixing to pay the piper prime time. Airports wont have to ban them cause they will probably not be around much longer. Good job morons.

After a few weeks... no one would really remember this... or any of the other many similar incident about the service standard of most US Domestic airline....

I'm not so sure but maybe you are right. People are getting plum fed up with the airline antics over here. Folks being denied entry to the country. TSA employees or whatever the acronym is fondling young boys and girls a little bit aggressively. Now there is the controversy over whether they will allow phones or not. No liquids. No camera lithium batteries idea. On and on and on. Makes me want to fly Chinese airlines...I'm not being flippant when I say that either.

Nothing much will change, so long as we keep plugging for the cheapest fares.
Furthermore we put up with being treated like a criminal when we enter USA, and ultimately unless we boycott United and secondly being treated like dirt when we go to USA, these incidents will continue, no matter how shocking they are.
BTW, this Dr Dao has previous run-ins with the authorities. He definitely knew how to posture him and get the most sympathy... he is no naive doctor being bumped off... the media will love someone like him.

Just read on 'Today'... Dr Dao is charged multiple times for prescribing and trafficking of painkillers... seen enough documentary to know USA has a very serious epidemic on the overused of opioids painkillers... Nevertheless, doesn't make what United Airlines did to him any better or correct. :think:
The doctor (good or bad is beside the point :bsmilie: ) should of course be compensated... but not to the point where the amount hits millions, which is the usual case in US.... I"ve always felt that people in US is just waiting for something or someone to f**k it up... so they can sue and retired early and rich... or I could have watch way too much US tv/drama shows... :bsmilie:

Point 1. They are trying to character assassinate the guy saying crap like that. MSM looks like they are colluding on this one. Next thing you know we will hear about his spy training days in the PRC. Like Dr Dao is the only physician prescribing these drugs to people. All of the doctors are doing it. Big pharma is in control baby. Plus just ask yourself where does most of the opium in the world come from? Answer the USA is fighting the longest war in its history there right now. No question at all about whether he deserved that sort of treatment or not...anyone in their right mind could call that one from a mile away. Everyday more and more I begin to understand why the Germans of the thirties allowed what happened to happen. They couldn't do anything to stop it. I feel like I am sort of living it as I type. Point 2. No you don't watch to much tv. You are right. But the main reason imo is many are just lazy no account bums who feel entitled to everything. They have a right to everything. The world owes them everything. Just heard on the radio today story about watch your crap in your car when you go to the graveyard. Apparently the latest scheme is to hit cars when someone is visiting their deceased relatives or friends. Really? No respect for even that anymore. What it boils down to is an evil curse on this place I guess. North Korea looking for trouble give me a damn break already...where has that fighting been happening again? Assad has to go but whoa to the Russians for meddling in our election...that is like the pot calling the kettle black is it not? Our leaders are greedy and evil. They have spied on everyone. Compromised our judges in order to blackmail them. The only check on the other two. The USA as you know it died the day they shot Kennedy. They are about to assume supreme control.

The stock price drop is temporary as speculators jump in. Will recover significantly.
But I hope this event is the impetus for change.

The stock did recover...but not completely. This is the start of the flying season in CONUS. Fly the unfriendly skies! LOL They gonna have a bad year though.
Another nuanced point about this debacle that works against them - over here we have only 4 major carriers. So they have a lot of power over the customer. They have strong armed this guy. People are still going to shop for the lowest price but this one is going to stick in peoples minds this season at least. To much of this bad publicity and poor handling of these matters and they could be knocked off rather easily I think. If one of them crashes...
The tourism industry over here is going to be p!ssed at these guys too. From what I hear it is viral in China and the good doctor says it is because he is Asian that they did this to him. So all of those affluent Chinese tourists...will probably go somewhere else instead of the USA. Cant say I blame them really. So now we have a major group of folks who cannot come here and we are making it such that all of the rest will not want to come here. America first...make America great again...yeah he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Doesn't know his hole from his elbow. Money cant buy everything and never could.

United airlines should have the good sense of putting aside a private plane for the sole use of the good doctor as a compensation. On board will staffed with some of the choicest air hostess United Airlines ever produced to pamper, humour and relax the good doctor. And please give him a seat as big as a bed.

Breaking any guitar does not mean chit compared to grandpa who only wanted to stay with grandma who was sitting beside him when he had his face slammed into something. A person can kill another person especially an old person doing chit like that especially when it isn't necessary.
