Well, now that the reputation is down the drain they don't need to pretend anymore to be customer focused.

This is good.
It has to get drastic enough, that the government will look bad and step in.
Right now it's laissez faire... so since people want to go cheap, they are expected to put up with lousy service..
But if it gets so bad, they have to upkeep some kind of image and then there will be change for the better via legislation.. sounds like SG :)
