Is following nikon len prices cheap?

Hi, probably they didn't state clearly. But all nikon australia products come with 2 years australia warranty. Pretty sure about that. Perhaps you may wish to have a look at here.

Cheers:)

Then you shouldn't wait, Just grab. The only time I seen the 16-35 at that pricing is for a very limited time in Japan recently, right when the yen crashed. The 16-35 worked out to around the same price you mentioned but not anymore, now that they adjusted all the pricing to account for the exchange rate. Even in malaysia the price works out to around 1600.

24-70 price is also great. In HK you are looking at over 2100+ for a grey set. I would grab both if I am in your shoes.

Wish I can get both. But many questions within me.

1)Is 16-35 worth getting? Thought there may be a 2.8 version coming out
2)I currently have a 24-120 f4 for travelling. Dunno if 24-70 is really much much better to get. Moreover, just got a sigma 35 f1.4 here, and really loving it.
3)Will i use all these lens frequently if I buy them :p

1. This is my de-facto landscape lens. And with the VR, I also use it to shoot close up action to get environmental feel. And no there is no 2.8 version coming out, because the 2.8 version is the 14-24/2.8.

You can check out this thread, most of the pictures there are shot using the 16-35: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1293712
For non landscapes, you can check out this thread. Some shots there (like 2,3,4,5,8) are shot using the 16-35: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1181712

2. If you need the F2.8, then get the 24-70. The 24-70 is a big heavy lens, but it also gives incredible IQ. Sigma 35 is a great lens (I own one as well), but it is by no means a replacement for the 24-70.

3. Only you can answer that.

A local online shop seling the 24-70 f/2.8 for $2110 this week. Cheaper than the Aussie price of AUD2060.

Thanks bro. I will definitely consider the 16-35 nw. Your shots are awesome :)

Oh. That's really a good price then.

Wonder if the 24-70 VR is coming out soon, with all these recent price drop.

Anyway, where local online shop did u see selling the 24-70 at $2110?

That was a promotional price a week ago. It is back to about $2180 now. Is is worth to buy as a grey set? Oh, the shop is Techno Gadgets.

Well, I wouldn't get a grey set for an expensive lens. Unless the difference is like $500. But that is just me. See which one u feel comfortable with. My uncle got his grey set 3 years ago. Still doing fine.

Ya. I also agree. The local street price is about $2680.
Hence the promotional price at $2110 is so tempting, and non promotional price at $2180 is also $500 less. :)

Still undecisive. Another consideration is the 24 - 120 f/4. But mix reviews.
