Is a D90 worth it?

Judging from the dpreview reviews, d90 iso is quite a disappointment, although with high expansion from 100-6400, the iso from 100-1600 is very similar to the performance of 450D, with 3200 barely good for the grains.

From other forums, D90 users has also made some comments that the auto white balance in indoor lighting is rather inaccurate when shooting jpgs.

D300 still win hands down in terms of ISO performance, and also the good AF points, accuracy, making it one of the best aps grade camera, in most ways, way better than the canon 40D, (waiting for 50D reviews).

However D90 still is one good camera with the price budget. With average good iso, solid built and additional movie function (although at its infant stage), still prove it as a good consumer dslr.

IM CONSIDERING TO GET D90.....BUT WHT IF COMPARE TO d90 AND CANON 40d,,,,WHICH ONE WORTH IT?SINCE THE PRICE ALMOST THE SAME.....

Typing in caps is akin to shouting. Please refrain from using caps in forums, it is rude.:nono:

I concur. ISO 3200 on the D90 (see DPReview) is pretty smudged; I don't know where KenBit got his comparisons with the D90, 40D and 50D.
