i havnt try b4 localize editing in PS.
i usually only do a color swap n change the hue.

still learning all the PS stuff.
mask & etc all dunno wad izzit. hahaha.

Hello Takeshi.lum, this is nice as usual but would prefer more eye contact.
I like the way she position her legs, experience model I guess and also the surrounding is just nice.

It may tell something if she is looking at the floor or the sky.
But the feeling is the model is looking at someone straight beside you, the surounding is just so nice but attention is drawn away. :cry:

yes, she is an experienced model. the pose of looking away is actually done on purposed. i wanted to create the feel of awaiting for something that is happy.

portraits most importantly is to get a warmer skin tone as too cold will look ghostly.

Background take the focus away from the model. Too cluttered. I am no expert just newbies.

its not exactly abt settings during the press. it is more of the PP that result in the skin tone here.

usually i will underexpose a little so as not to blow the highlights, it would be ugly if there are posterisation.

u can follow the guide stickied in IR section on skin tone. if u are looking for PP on IR landscapes, the guides are stickied as well. hope u find them useful!

you should do a step by step tutorial here, let other IR lover learn how you do the masking and local colour correction.
