Wah, so fast...

I just loaded photos into my laptop. No time to browse through all photos yet, so just put this non-model shot at the moment:

*No choice, my instinct to shoot couple whenever I have chance

Still figuring how to post process the photos, give me sometime...

allenleonhart, nice color there... I'm still stucked at dual tones, haha ~

Problem... I set custom WB to wood, and got blueish tint/cyan sky for jpg... but when I opened the RAW in PS, it gave me pink tint when I set the WB as "as shot". When I opened the RAW, it gives me diff color...

But indeed, the jpg file works better for conversion... any idea?

Nevertheless, another photo :bsmilie:

Still have no idea how to color color by using hue/saturation...

Going out, looking forward to replies when I'm back!

Thanks to Ah Chua for organizing this event.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Here's my test shot. Straight from the camera

ur not the only one. first 2 photos were the ones i used "as shot" in raw. hence weird.

what i did i think was after i used "as shot", i took a step in photoshop to do "auto color", hence i got closer to what i wanted:)

anyways, i found converting to bnw a lot less hassle:D

bro, i normally use my viewNX to convert them to TIFF file first. Opening direct as raw screw up the white balance.

wah, so fast and efficient, i just reached home, gonna take a nap first then process -.-. I forgot to retake the wb again when the weather changes now thinking how to save those blue images ...

Here is one of my first 535nm.
fatigue said it's quite good for portrait shots.
Well.... I think fatigue is wrong. It's very good for portrait shots! ;)

Pearllyn
Pearllyn has wonderful charisma.
Spontaneous and free-flowing with pose.
A hint of sexiness that oozes from within her.

Here is my humble rendition of this lovely lady...

Wow... CE I wan tat 535!!! Take my silver D50... CE where are u.."(

Where is CE!!!

As I began to wield the strokes on the 535nm, my love for it deepened.
And for the very first time, I was able to not only see, but actually touch, colours that have been out of my reach.
The 535nm has certainly hit a soft, passionate spot in me...

Dorothy

Dorothy is such a natural.
Her demure smile, the twinkle in her eyes, the little girl-next-door feel she exudes...
One would not be blamed for extending one's chivalry to her.

This, is my humble rendition of Dorothy...

Hmmm...
Going against the principles of portraiture I have...
... the exaggerated head room to exhibit the golden foliage.
... the extension of space on her right side (instead of her left) to illustrate the water droplets of the fountain in white.
Please pardon me in all these aspects as I felt that I simply had to break these rules to demonstrate a little bit of IR-ness in this photo.

OMG.... 535nm is so poisonous........... makes my photos looks like black and white.....

Wow all so nice....

Here is my attempt...

Faye

Faye, a gentle name for a gentle lady.
Flawless skin, never-ending legs...
Oft, her brows in deep thought throughout the shoot sent a mild feeling of
a timid damsel in distress...

Well, here is my humble pat on her shoulder for her...

Oh yes... in 535nm, again.
