iPhone 4 is OUT!

still got a few months to go to end contract so will wait for feedback and get the white one :)

Why go into so much trouble and spend extra money in order to get an over-publicized phone? At this time, no one can tell if any issues will be encountered when using it locally.

IT IS a design issue for the iP 4, no doubt about this, and no software/iOS patch can help to resolve it.

Not pouring cold water, but I personally don't think it's worth the upgrade when you already hold a 3GS.

Exactly, logic doesn't factor into people's decisions... Apple's marketing is really amazing.

So he had a problem before pasting the tape on the phone?

Yes. no matter what iphone 4 have a signal problem.

Onli after he past the tape its ok no signal problem after that.

The iphone 4 signal problem never be resolve because it sure a hardware problem.

Of course my friend. It's just a word of caution, before everyone takes the plunge and regret later. Whether to take it is an individual's decision.

I'll be more than happy for many of them to take the plunge now and later found that there really is an issue with the hardware, when weeks later, Apple rectified it and I go in to buy at a cheaper rate. :bsmilie:

That's definitely good news. Considering it'll lessen the "backlog" of demands from the telcos. ;p Only thing is, i think the waiting time for the next shipment to arrive for telco and apple store would be roughly the same, 3 weeks now.

Let the waiting begin! (cross fingers for white!)

My 2-year contract just reached it's 1-year mark a week ago, now can I still purchase a 3GS at S$100 additional surcharge?

The information in support http://www.starhub.com/support/mobile/faq/valueaddedservices/srvsoniphone.html is a lot on iPhone 4, and I can't find any anything else for 3GS.. Now waiting for them to pick up my call @ 1633... still holding.....

UPDATE

I just got the iPhone 4 16gb black for $230 this afternoon at starhub retailer in Hougang mall. Had to pay the $200 recontract fee because my current contract is only 1yr old, but if I top up $78 for a pouch and screen protector, I'll get 30% off my monthly $58 subscription for the next 2 years.. I gladly took the offer which they said it's only available at their store.. Wondering if anyone got such offers elsewhere too?

Cheers.

Do they have those sheet protector that cover both sides of the phone?

Btw that seems to be a good deal....30% off the $58 monthly is like only $41 per month after discount. Will there be even more discount on top of this if u r a hub club member?

Hi, the sheet protector only covers the front.

It's a very good deal, but I just want to know anyone out there who also has the 30% off; perhaps without paying $78 for some casing and protective sheet which probably cost less than $40... (just to tell myself I'm not being ripped off in any ways haha!)

I'm not too sure if there's more discount for hub club member.. But what does the membership do?
