iPhone 4 is OUT!

this is almost impossible to happen in SG... not when our telcos are more interested in new customers than retaining old customers :sticktong

yeah... customer loyalty is not of an interest to them

Meh. So they finally play catch-up again.

- Video calls (Welcome to 2004, Apple). Oh, and wi-fi only for now!! HAHAHAHAHA
- High-res screen (yes, you're last to the party again)
- Gyro (Recent Adroid phones have been having fun with this already)
- 5MP camera (sounds like the Sony backlit sensor was used). But... 5MP??

And then he still says Apple pioneered "tap to focus"?? What rubbish!!!

I'm still waiting for those other touch screens to show as much accuracy as those on iPhone. You've probably seen the tests, they made everything else look like rubbish. It's no big deal to put out lousy displays with big numbers, is it?

I'm still wondering (on a photography site, no less), why people are concerned about a phone's camera. They're all rubbish.

Last time I believed the lost one is the real, got so many people laugh at me in disbelief. Now it is proven I am correct

No leh I never laugh at you, cos I also believed it was the real one. :bsmilie:

Geessh...all these techie talks making me G-iddy..

Hmm... still assisted GPS and not real GPS...

I wonder how much it will cost with/without contract.

But the number sounds bad luck, Iphone 4.

can you find another smartphone with such processing power and such battery life at this thinness?

Aiya, these are good to have. Do you really need it, is the question.

same goes for high-end functions like 12MP camera on certain phones... do you really need it? or other bells-and-whistles that other smartphones boast of having... do you really need it?

i just don't know why people are so bent at criticizing Apple for coming out with new stuff but praise their competitor for coming out with new stuff which (are good to have too but can't die without them)?

Big deal... I suspect, half a year from now, you would find such phones everywhere.

but assisted GPS can work underground while real GPS cannot

any idea if iphone can pair with BT GPS for hardware GPS navigation? (good for oversea usage whereby data usage is high)

I dont think its a monopoly like last time, it should be made available to all telcos providers at the same time.

Really hope so, than must also see the price first

Not really a techie but I don't think other smartphones have all these in one phone including the thiness, long battery life and most importantly the same amount of downloads available in one site? I'm looking for a phone upgrade and the downloads available at my wimp and fancy ( regardless if I need them ) is a big draw.
