 i saw a sony camera.i dunno wat model it is..but its quite big..around 15cm..dunno wat model la..got night lux 0...it cost SGD$500..i saw it in a shop which sells 2nd hand things[which i dun 1 mention]...anyone know any camera which is quite small and has nightmode?i mean those wit nightmode liaoz then can put filter then hav the xray effect?anyone knows?

 a physics teacher that doesn't know the mechanics of light? I think if you did some research into NIR and FIR imaging you would have gotten better answers than trying to buy a cheap x-ray camera.

can an sony camera with nightmode make the xray effect?i mean without taking a video..jus taking a photo?i saw it on a website tat the thing only xray 4 a few seconds..an the image will be blury..i dunno..i was jus wondering if any camera could take a still xray effect picture in the day..the budget for the camera is below $1000SGD..

haha..no la..lolz..im studying and doing research on lenses..im a physics teacher..i wanna know more bout these lenses and how is it able to do the xray effect..anyone knows?

I wonder what you are going to teach :dunno:  :dunno:

haha...im teaching physics of cos..im jus trying to research further..

he is teaching physics but currently studying lenses.

But on the sideline, he just wants to know how to get see-through photos. Got nothing to do with his physics lessons I guess, it's a personal 'upgrading' skill.

awl321: Where are you teaching? I've got quite a number of friends as teachers. Maybe we've met.

haha..im physics teacher 'in the making'..not yet a real teacher..cos haven passs certain things..

oh so you in NIE now? cool. I got even more friends in NIE. I used to hang out at NIE quite often.

Hmmm this thread is getting more interesting! Now NIE is in the picture.

no la..i self study..not NIE..so tat not so difficult 2 get a job

Seems like its getting more n more complicated.
*Grin*

oh.. self funded research student.

RIGHT ON!
i A-level physics nia also roughly understand how it works..
nothign much too it .. its jus EM waves that are able to pass thru thin clothes
CSers these days.. sigh...

What if he turn out to be like those teachers in the Straits Time Limelight?

Physics teacher dunno abt the physics of light and u suppose we photographers with no training in Physics know everything abt this x-ray camera thing?

We've got a better suggestion, head off to Changi Chalet for a year's stay. Nuff said.

He 'turns out'?

I can tell u with a 120% guarantee, chop, stamp. He IS.

Someone is taking us for idiots here.

Well, I thought I'd seen it all when I see ppl asking me things like:
- I'm a ladies man (ironically, murphy's law applies to me on this count)
- Whether we guys have mass orgy sessions with the models after each photoshoot
- How much do nude models charge and whether they provide 'special'
- Whether the models are 'easy girls'
- 'Special' photoshoot session involving pornographic themes and *ahem* bodily fluids

Now I see someone (self-proclaimed 'teacher') asking abt see-thru IR filters, where to get them and how to get started.

The list of weird ppl never fails to stop growing. What's next? Care to add on?

Many year ago, in a local art school, a teacher who teach photography, install a one way mirror in the changing room, at the other side of the wall is his darkroom, so you guys know what happen next...
nobody knows about this untill a female student found out, and was publish in local papers.
