I have a copy of the 100-400 APO... got it for S$690 like a year or two back... also from TCW... and it was more than a mint, almost new... but it's a really slow lens on the 7D - AF I mean. And u really need very good light or tripod cos at 400mm, it's around 600mm field of view and the shakes can be so bad even the AS cannot save your shot... and oh the AF is slow cos the entire lens barrel rotates... so that's very heavy and that's why it's so slow... good range, needs patience... also very heavy lens even though the body is polycarbonate... lots of glass... and has a focus hold which I never use anyway... and ermm... plus the lens hood is huge and round and also rotates with the lens as it focusses... looks very pro but AF isn't very pro... but the colour is excellent and the sharpness at around f/5.6 - 8 is excellent as well... I'm usually on f/5.6 or 6.7 if I can help it for this lens... it's needs all the help it can get to get a sharp shot @400mm...
