went down to the sony gallery with bro Dewakarma yesterday, saw a sony 5gb cf card selling at $256. well, its a SONY.

Well, didnt ask the sales guy to show us. But from the package, it reads 5GB CF Type II. Whats the diff bro? :think: Do enlighten me, pretty newbie in that.

dun be alarm
it still slower than the normal cf and
ap is selling them for less than $100..
it not a new product..it was launched in conjuction with the R_1 back then

its launched when F828 can read faster with a microdrive than the fastest CF card... Sony seem to be able to make the CF slot work 'wonders'

microdrive is a micro harddrive... mean it sucks battery more than a solid state and once drop, can kiss it goodbye...

and the performance is rather sluggish compared to current solid state CFs.

The 35mm is sharp even at f1.4! At f2.8 it is already pin sharp. However, the real strengths of this lens are in the bokeh and low light departments.
