haha i kind of agree. there aren't many singaporean girls who have that x-factor, besides a standard kind of pretty face. some racequeens don't really appeal to me as well, even with the thick layers of makeup. well, i guess it boils down to individual taste and preference, some photogs in CS like their look

My take is that many old men roam clubsnap and their standard of what's beautiful really decline as they age.
True, singapore girls are not appealing and this coupled with their catty behaviour makes the local men flock overseas for brides.
I just wish local girls would wake up from their delusions.

well i guess pretty is different from beautiful in the first place, pretty is a sort of a commonplace version of beauty, whereas being beautiful is having really defined features, the first person in mind i have would be the Indian actress Aishwarya Rai ;p she's absolutely stunning to me  but i do think we shouldn't overgeneralise or stereotype all singaporean girls, not all possess catty behaviour actually. in the first place, we can't compare Asians to Westerners, definitely most of us fall short in the not only looks, but physical department. Anyway, not all models require that element of great beauty, to me, I don't even find people like Kate Moss beautiful in any way, she's just got that X-factor that divides her from the rest of the aspiring models. Locally-wise, I think we should still support our local talents (although they might not be that many, or that impressive as compared) but yeah
