Intend to get D80

Just bought my D80 kit 2 weeks ago. Centrepoint Max Photo (shop next to OSIM)

D80 kit going for S$1980 (can use credit card...chalk up some points). Ask Cathay selling best price $1950 but cash or nets only.

So I bought D80 kit with the battery pack, 1 extra battery, 1GB Kingston SD. They throw in 1 free Hoya UV filter. Didn't bargain much with them...cos the salesgirl who served me very patience...I tried D80, 400D and the D200...never show me kena sai face. So fig that since CP selling 30bucks cheaper only...might we well buy it there since can sign card. (BTW, for those who sign Standard Chartered VISA, you can call the bank to arrange for installment...but need to pay a 4% admin fee something like dat...

All in D80 Kit + MB-D80 + battery EN-EL3E + 1GB SD card = S$ 2320

Ok ba, Max photos sell you at around 25% Profit. Quite unlike them. Oh well, maybe they've changed.

would rather buy a D200 without Grip. and if buy in SITEX, giving many things for free. of coz, need to buy a lense seperately.

They might give you one.. But I won't dare to use it.. Free tripods aer usually too puny and unstable to hold a DSLR properly. I've seen one where the whole head just comes off with a slight tug.

Finally got my D80 bundle from MS Color just now...

Top up $70 for Slik 400 tripod (return additional battery), $40 for SanDisk 2GB UltraII SD (return PenDrive 2GB SD) and bought UV filter for $15

Total damage....2395 incl GST ... 12 mths UOB installments

First newbie pic....guess i need to save up for SB800
