Thanks for your kind encouragement....But

yes...what's wrong with it?? The lighting, the angle and not enough things in between?

OK. I'll go take some tranquilizer first ...tell me:sweatsm:

esther

try to have a lower view point ( camera about 1ft from ground ).

use bigger aperture setting to blur the background more.

I should say that about 10mins after the sun rise above the horizon, the lights are very directional ( this is when you should be taking just shot ). after that, the intensity will be stronger and more diffused.

I come in peace.. :)
no tranquilizer needed.

Billy

OMG...
You are even more romantic than I!!
I honestly didn't notice that "heart". I actually felt the clouds were too dark that morning and they were going across the photo like a band.

Thanks !! soulFly

by looking at your images, the cloud formation that morning is very nice!

you sure can wake up early eh?!

hey, they are quite good looking ...the size and shape not photoshopped!!

You mean the triangles ??? Yep, I see 2 great looking isoceles and a perfect equilateral . They must have worked really hard to achieve those shapes... ! :bsmilie:

The clouds formation in pic#4 is amazing.

I was enjoying the photos and feeling the mood until I saw the 'drown' pic....sorry.

Great shots!.. Especially like yr shoot #4 with the black cat inside.... how did you get the cat to pose so naturally??

Allan... one of the amature photographers you met that morning :embrass:.

It's a chiken and egg situattion....The different shape ones are all exercising indoor! :sweatsm:
How...do you belong to the "in" or the "out" group...? ;p I think it might not have been a all ladies group........or you can always ask for permission to join ;)

Glad that you liked that picture, HeiPiGu (erh..is this hanyupinyin?)

Hm....It was disturbing at first....but soon everyone just returned to what they were doing. Saw a couple started praying. ..

Don't stop at the dead..go to the next picture..it's a Beautiful Sunday again.

Every second, lives are removed while new lives are added, to the world we know....

Hi Allan

Did you guys see what I saw?? You were packing up slight before I. Are you in #7?

I am also an amature..in the infancy stage...but my sifus are very ,very helpful.

I hope your morning shoot was equally fruitful.

esther

PS: the black cat was actually waiting there for her breakfast. ...but dissappointed. The tide was going out..no fish.

Im sort of DID:sweat:... sometimes chiken..sometimes egg(half boiled). Come to think of it, I might have cycled pass you on my way to changi village for tim-sum while you were feeding sandflies at the beach.

If you go to the first car park in the direction towards changi point... its a great place to shoot sunrise and on low tide days you walk all the way down and get beautiful pattens on the beach as the sun rise. On lucky days you can catch indian priests performing rituals at dawn... and the few stray dogs around there might just come down into the water to play around and pose for you. Other interesting place will be to drive all the way in pass changi village to the Boardwalk.

Thank you for ur kind word and I have been visiting the place many times and guess what, the tyre and log is not always there and that is where I got the title for the 2 images...*floater* and *drifter*...he he...sorry, it was out of topic...:)

Cheers and you do have good eyes on surrounding..

I was there....that's where the body was found. The tide was not low enough that morning..

Singapore has been sterilised. No sandflies. Only Aedes and Anopheles....

Erm..what's DID?

Sun looks a bit strange in this photo, because of the red halo around it. But I like the colours overall!!

May the drowned man rest in peace...

#1 and #2 can be Desktop Wallpaper!! :)
very nice dreamy effect.

I salute your enthusiasm and efforts to wake up early for sunrise photography! :)

Thanks Kevin for your kind words.

I think it's the from the filter.. the foreground ended up lighter than the sky...

There were also 2 spots of lens flare which I've erased.

I salute your enthusiasm and efforts to wake up early for sunrise photography! :)

haha...old lady need less sleep :bsmilie:

Thanks for viewing....

Nice pictures. I really like #3. Simple with pinkish sunrise.

I feel sorry for you to have witnessed the dead person. Yes, I agree it is not nice to take a photo of a dead person.
