Using only a Kenko Pro Low profile UV filter. Me don't belief in expensive filter anymore leh...:bsmilie:

I set my camera to Vivid and saturation -1, then use Shadow/Highlight in PS to darken the sky in bit.. the color came out quite nice. ;)

:bsmilie: so where are all your B+W then?

hi, based on your experience, are there big differences in different brands of filters ?

Sorry to get back to you late, was away for a few days.

If you were to look at a B+W multicoated UV, it has a coating much like the one you see on your lenses. It’s less reflective than the norm. Very nice to look at, mind you.

But the differences to other makes are really quite minimal on DSLR. With the amount of image information JPEG(compression technique) and sRGB(color space) discard before the image is presented to you, you would better off saving your money for some other toys…at least for now...;)

wow  I like all these pic!

They are nice, like the colour.

thanks Ryosae & zcf for the compliment.

These 2 are cool and well executed at the right moment! IMO, if you can try to photoshop away the 2 HSBC logos for the 1st photo, remove the traffic light, road paints for the 2nd photo, it could bring a much more realistic feel back to the olden days.

Nice and sharp photos..
Show us the photo of your unique & one of the kind in Singapore lens.. ;)

Some test shots from the 80-200 APO. An old minolta lens but the sharpness, color & bokeh are just simply amazing...
